Accessing Your Ciao Languages Learner’s Area

Congratulations on enrolling at Ciao Languages.

Please follow these steps in order to have access to the learner’s area, where you will be able to review your learning materials, class notes, slides, digital exercises and also find the recordings of your live lessons.

1.) Go to learn.ciaolanguages.com and create a user profile.

2.) Go to the the main page of learn.ciaolanguages.com and locate the course you have signed up for (e.g., “Basic French A1, Part 1,” “Italian All Levels,” etc.)

3.) Click on the “View Course” button.

4.) When you get to the “Self-Enrollment Key,” paste the enrollment key the school has provided you. The enrollment key is sent to the student upon payment of course balance.

You are now ready to go!

Once in the platform, you will be able to watch an introductory video and consult a FAQs page.

We are of course available for questions and clarifications at info@ciaolanguages.com

Access to your live lessons: You will receive a unique meeting link for each lesson that is automatically generated by our admin software and sent to you approximately 30 minutes before lesson starting time. If you do not receive the link, please check your spam folder, but in a pinch, you may also call or text the school (949) 478 – 1786 and we will send one manually. The email will arrive from the address usa@ciaolanguages.com

To reschedule your individual live sessions, you may signal your preference via our Contact Form.

Please bear in mind that we require 24 hours previous notice for the cancellation or rescheduling of individual lessons.

It is strongly recommended that you study during the week between lessons so that you can better exploit your lesson time by practicing your language of choice during the lessons. Study the slides, make yourself flashcards, memorize vocabulary by putting your hand over the notebook and attempting to recall them, reorganize your notes, practice conjugations out loud. Crucially, try to use what you have learned during the lessons so you can delight your teacher with what you have learned. These are some best practices shared to me by students over the years.

Re-enrollment A week or so before you have concluded your lesson package, we will send you a few reminders about the possibility of signing up for a new hours package.

Contacting your teacher As a policy, we do not allow teachers to give out personal contact information, but if you would like to send a question or communication to your language instructor between lessons, there is a chat function in the platform. Just go to the speech-bubble shaped icon on the upper righthand part of the page and search for your teacher by his/her first name. It works just like a regular chat program.

We we wish you the best on your learning journey and look forward to helping you achieve ever higher levels of linguistic proficiency.
